Great Train Weekend – Mt Victoria 2012
Mount Victoria’s Great Train Weekend is a celebration of railway history and is held annually in the last weekend of May in the beautiful Blue Mountains. Every year a historic train is brought in especially and is available for rides all weekend shuttling the rail line between Mount Victoria and Katoomba.
On the eve of winter, and just two hours from Sydney, the heritage village of Mount Victoria choofs away with loads of family fun as part of the Great Train Weekend’s Full Village Fair.
Enjoy great food, music, markets, cake stalls, show bags, treasure hunts, pony rides, vintage engine displays, free hot chocolate, open fires, opera, public dinners, theatre, film and much more. Special Great Train Weekend accommodation packages available
