Local News – 60th Annual Rhodo Festival

 Blackheath Rhodo Festival 2012

This year is the 60th Anniversary of the Rhodo Festival so it will be even more spectacular than ever. During the Annual Rhododendron Festival, Blackheath village comes alive with floral displays, art shows, roof bolting, coal shoveling, and outdoor entertainment. This year the Grand Parade is taking place on Saturday 3rd Nov at 12:30pm.

During the Festival weekend there will be over 100 varied stalls, activities and music for all the family. Other activities include the Rhodo Debutante Ball, the Jazz Festival, the Campbell Rhododendron gardens will be open for inspection and the Rhodo Festival Golf Classic.
