Bicentary Flyover of the Blue Mountains

By Jessica Ridder

On Saturday 25 May 2013, from approximately 10.30 am to 12.00 pm a diverse range of aircraft from Tiger Moths to a Super Constellation and an FA-18 are expected to fly west over the mountains to celebrate the Bicentenary of the crossing of the Blue Mountains in 1813.

Community events will be arranged at approximately nine flyover viewing points (ovals and schools). The aircraft will land at Bathurst Airport where visitors can see the aircraft up close and meet pilots and crew, even book joy flights.
