Auction Report – February 2012

By Jessica Ridder

Blackheath Golf Club was a hive of activity on Sunday morning in preparation for Ray White Blackheath’s first Auction of 2012. The flags were out, bidders were registering and the Auctioneer was warming up his vocal cords. There is nothing like the excitement of a live property Auction and the team at Ray White certainly didn’t disappoint on the weekend, they were in their element.

With a packed room and a successful charity Auction for Ovarian Cancer to kick off the bidding, the club was buzzing with anticipation. Close to $700 was raised for the Charity, including a personal donation by the Principal’s Alan & Suzette Gregory donating $100 per property SOLD on the day plus an extra $10 per bid.

With 4 fantastic properties going ‘Under the Hammer’ on Sunday, it was no surprise that once the Auctioneer opened bidding on the first property, there was a flurry of fast paced bidding that saw offers on all 4 properties, resulting in 2 of the 4 properties being SOLD under the hammer. The properties sold on the day are featured below;

152 Clarence Road, Blackheath and Lot 1 Brightlands Ave, Blackheath.

Thank you to everyone who attended our Auction yesterday.  If you have a property that you would like included in our next Auction on Sunday the 1st April 2012 please contact Alan Gregory on 02 4787 8797 or alan.gregory@raywhite.com
